Zion offers a strong academic program based on the Illinois Learning Standards. The standards based curriculum is written for Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Art, Music, and  Physical Education & Health. The curriculum begins with preschool and spirals through all grades, kindergarten through eighth grade. Christian faith and values are integrated throughout the curriculum.

Zion students consistently score above the national average on standardized tests. Zion’s graduates attend a variety of local public and private high schools and are recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.
