Enrollment Procedure
Step 1:
Return a
completed application to the school office along with the
$40 non-refundable application fee.
Submit a
certified birth certificate
Submit
previous report cards
Submit
achievement test scores
The Illinois State Board
of Education requires all children entering preschool must
reach the age of 4 years on or before September 1st,
Kindergarten children must reach the age of 5 years and
first grade children the age of 6 years on or before
September 1st.
If
applicable, a custody agreement must accompany the
application before consideration of enrollment
Step 2:
The teacher
and principal will review the application and make a
recommendation to the school board
The school
board will vote, they meet on the 2nd Tuesday of
every month
Step 3:
The school
will notify all new applicants as to their acceptance,
rejection, or assignment to a waiting list
Acceptance
of an application requires a deposit within ten days of the
notification date of acceptance. This deposit is
non-refundable.
