This marks my third year here at Zion as your principal. I have served the Northern Illinois District for 35 years as a teacher and/or principal. I am Vice-Chairman Elect for the Northern Illinois District Teachers' Conference. Here at Zion, I am an usher/server; help out with worship services; and this past summer, helped out with the V.B.S. This year I will be teaching grades 5-6 in the morning as well as art and music classes. My office hours will be in the afternoons.

I was born a St. Patrick's baby in Cleveland, 1954, and was raised in Euclid, Ohio (suburb of Cleveland). I have an older brother, David, and a younger sister, Diane (I'm the "middle kid"). My college years were spent in Ann Arbor where I attended Concordia Junior College, and then Concordia Teachers' College in River Forest. I received my Master's Degree from Concordia College in 1985.

I am married to my wife, Robbyn, who plays organ at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Dolton, and St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Thornton. We just celebrated our 33rd year of marriage. Robbyn and I live in Orland Park with our three year old Scottish Terrier, Pepper. I enjoy collecting model cars and like to listen to Country and music of the 60's.
